Configuration procedure
1. Configure an IP address and subnet mask for each interface as per Figure 14. (Details not shown.)
2. On Router A, enable IP multicast routing, enable IGMP on GigabitEthernet 1/0/1, and enable
PIM-DM on each interface.

[RouterA] multicast routing-enable
[RouterA] interface gigabitethernet 1/0/1
[RouterA-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] igmp enable
[RouterA-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] pim dm
[RouterA-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] quit
[RouterA] interface gigabitethernet 1/0/2
[RouterA-GigabitEthernet1/0/2] pim dm

# Create VLAN 100, assign GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 through GigabitEthernet 1/0/4 to this VLAN,
and enable IGMP snooping and the function of dropping unknown multicast traffic in the VLAN.

Verifying the configuration
# Display detailed IGMP snooping group information in VLAN 100 on Switch A.
[SwitchA] display igmp-snooping group vlan 100 verbose
