Before you configure BIDIR-PIM, complete the following tasks:
• Configure a unicast routing protocol so that all devices in the domain can reach each other.
• Determine the IP address of a static RP and the ACL that defines the range of the multicast groups
to which the static RP is designated.
• Determine the C-RP priority and the ACL that defines the range of multicast groups to which each
C-RP is designated.
