1. Serial port for remote power
on/off

2. Expander modules Provides SAS I/O ports. May be r
eplaced in the event of a
failure.
CAUTION: With Harmonic MediaGrid 4.0, SAS
cables are not hot-swappable. When replacing or
removin
g a SAS cable, you must first power down
the associated ContentServer controller using
SystemManager, replace or re-connect the SAS
cable, and then power on the ContentServer
controller by pressing the power button on the front
panel.
3. Power supply units The ContentStore 4240 includes dual redundant power
supplies.
4. Fan module Four fan modules maintain all syst
em components below
their maximum temperature, assuming the ambient
temperature is below 35°C.
5. SAS I/O ports Used for connecting the ContentStore to the ContentServer.
6. Debug port Unused.
7. Console port Unused.
