QoS needs support from network device such as router and switch.
Steps
1.
Go t
o Conguraon → Network → Network Sengs → QoS .
2.
Set Video/Audio DSCP, Event/Alarm DSCP and Management DSCP.
Note
Network can idenfy the priority of data transmission. The bigger the DSCP value is, the higher
the priority is. Y
ou need to set the same value in router while conguraon.

11.13.5 Set IEEE 802.1X
You can authencate user permission of the connected device by seng IEEE 802.1X.
Go to Conguraon → Network → Network Sengs → 802.1X , and enable the funcon.
Select protocol and version according to router informaon. User name and password of server are
required.

ou set the Protocol to EAP-TLS, select the Client Cercate and CA Cercate.

If the funcon is abnormal, check if the selected cercate is abnormal in Cercate
Management.
11.13.6 SSH
Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol for operang network services over an
unsecur
ed network.
Go to Maintenance and Security → Maintenance → Device Debugging , and click Sengs of SSH.

ou can edit the number of the port. Click Save.
Cauon
Use the funcon with cauon. The security risk of device internal informaon leakage exists when
the funcon is enabled.
11.13.7 Control Timeout Sengs
If this funcon is enabled, you will be logged out when you make no operaon (not including
vie
wing live image) to the device via web browser within the set meout period.
