6 Supplementary Information
6.1
Annual Inspection
The inspections detailed below are required to be performed annually to assess system functionality and technical safety. Regular
inspections will assist in early detection of possible malfunctions. This helps maintain the system and increases its safety and service
life. The inspections do not require a service technician but must be performed by Biomedical Engineering.
6.1.1
Scale Calibration Check
The Scale Calibration Check is intended to verify that the Fluid Bag Scales and Waste Bag Scale meet the specified
tolerances. This test requires a precision weight (500g – 3000g).
6.1.1.1 Press the Power Button on the top of the system to power on the system.
6.1.1.2 Touch the ‘SETTINGS’ icon.
6.1.1.3 Touch the scale calibration ‘CHECK’ icon. The Scale Calibration Check screen is displayed.
