USER INTERFACE
The ThinPrep 5000 processor can be set up to use the entire vial ID as the slide ID, or it can be set up
to recognize a portion of the vial ID for use in the slide ID.

If the vial ID contains additional information besides the sample accession ID, configure the
ThinPrep 5000 to recognize where the accession ID is within the vial ID. Also configure the
instrument to recognize additional information in the vial ID as one or more section of the vial ID,
taking into consideration how, or if, the additional information will appear on a slide label.
