2. Under Periodical event, select On to enable the periodical event function.
3. Under Time interval, enter a Minimum interval value in the field (in seconds). The
minimum interval time is the amount of time that will pass before a new image is uploaded
to the selected server (see Setting the Periodical Event Triggered Actions on page 104).
Set a minimum duration between 60 and 3600 seconds (default value is 60 seconds).
Note After making changes to your settings, it is advised to click Save and save your
settings. This can be done at any time, or multiple times during setup.
Setting the Periodical Event Triggered Actions
You can set up the periodical event to upload images to one or both of an FTP server or email
server.
1. Under Triggered Action, select the Upload image by FTP/E-mail check box (see
Figure 6-17).
2. In the FTP/E-Mail address drop-down list, select either FTP1/E-mail1 or FTP2/E-mail2
(see Configuring FTP Servers, page 88, and Configuring Email SMTP Servers, page 87, for
information on setting up an Email and/or FTP address).
3. In the Pre-trigger buffer drop-down list, select the number of pre-trigger frames/images (1
to 20) to send to the server. This option sets the amount of images from before the
periodical event that will be uploaded by FTP/Email. The default setting is 5.
4. In the Post-trigger buffer drop-down list, select the number of post-trigger frames/images
(1 to 20) to send to the server. The default setting is 5.
