Changing the Administrator Password
The administrator password should be changed regularly to ensure high camera security. The
password cannot contain more than 14 characters and is case sensitive. Any of the following
characters may be used: A–Z, a–z, 0–9, !@#$%^’&-_~.
1. Navigate to the System tab
Security User (see Figure 7-2).
2. In the Admin password field, type the new password for the administrator (the default
password is 1234).
3. In the Confirm password field, re-type the new password, and then click Save.
Note The Login window appears. You are asked to login with the new password.
