Setting a Dynamically Assigned IP Address
The camera is assigned a dynamic (DHCP) IP address by default. Use the Honeywell Device
Search tool to find the automatically assigned dynamic IP address (refer to Finding the Camera
on a Network on page 35 for more information).
If a fixed IP address has been assigned (see Assigning a Fixed IP Address on page 118), you
can set the camera to use a dynamically assigned (DHCP) IP address by selecting the Get IP
address automatically option and clicking Save (see Figure 7-8).
Note You can also assign a dynamic IP address to the PTZ camera by using the
Honeywell Device Search tool (see Figure 3-3 on page 37).
