Setting the Audio Transmission Mode
There are four audio transmission modes, plus the option for disabling audio (see Table 4-3).

Transmission Mode Description
Full-duplex (Talk and
listen simultaneously)
The local and remote sites can transmit and receive audio
(talk and listen) at the same time.
Half-duplex (Talk or
listen, not at the same
time)
The local and remote sites can transmit and receive audio
(talk and listen), but not at the same time. A talk or listen
transmission must end before another can be started.
Simplex (Talk only) The local or remote site can only talk to the PTZ site.
Simplex (Listen only) The local or remote site can only listen to the PTZ site.
Disable (default) Audio transmission is disabled.
