2. Under Mimic Tour setting, in the Mimic Tour path drop-down list, select the number of
the Mimic Tour path that you want to program (select from 1 to 8).
3. In the Live View screen, use the mouse to click and drag the video image to the start point
of the mimic tour path. To re-position the camera, place the mouse cursor over the video
image and left-click and drag in the direction you want to move the camera. The red arrow
icon ( ) indicates the direction that the image will pan/tilt.
4. Click the Set button located next to Record start to assign the current camera position as
the mimic tour starting position.
5. Program the mimic tour path using the PTZ controls. Use the mouse to click and drag the
image in the path that you want the tour to follow (see step 3, above). Use the zoom and
focus controls to adjust the camera, as needed. When programming the tour, be sure to
let the camera rest for a few seconds on the camera positions that should be monitored
closely during the tour.
6. When you have finished programing the mimic tour path, click the Set button located next
to Record end (see Figure 5-2).
Running a Mimic Tour Path
1. Navigate to PTZ Mimic Tour.
2. Under Mimic Tour run, in the Mimic Tour path drop-down list, type or select the number
of the Mimic Tour path that you want to run, and then click Run (see Figure 5-2).
