Figure 7-7 IP Filter Settings Screen
2. Select the Enable IP filter check box.
3. Select Allow or Deny from the drop-down list, and then click Apply. The selection made
here will determine how the IP Filter treats the addresses in the Filtered IP Addresses list
(either allowing or denying access by those addresses).
Note Selecting to allow or deny will depend on how the system is set up. If you want to
limit so only a couple of IP addresses can access the camera, set to allow those
IP addresses only. If there are a few IP addresses you need to block, set up those
IP addresses as denied.
4. In the field below the Filtered IP Addresses list box, enter an IP address you want to filter,
and then click Add.
To remove an IP address from the list, select the address in the list, and then click Delete.
5. Continue adding IP addresses to the Filtered IP Addresses list box, as needed.
Note Please do not delete all of the IP addresses listed in the Filtered IP Addresses list
when you are using the Allow option. At least one IP address is required to be
available in this field or you will not be able to login to the camera.
