2. Remove the dust cover from the empty processor slot on the system board (if necessary).
a. Remove the processor 1 air baffle (air blocker) on the system board (right side only). Save
this piece so you can reinstall it if you return the server blade to a one-processor
configuration. Figure 13 (page 32) shows the processor 1 air baffle.

b. Remove the processor 2 and 3 air baffle from the system board by lifting it straight up
and out of the server blade.

c. Turn the air baffle over, and remove the air blocker from the air baffle for the processor
you are adding. If you are adding two processors into processor slots 2 and 3, remove
both air blockers.
Figure 14 (page 32) shows the processor 2 and 3 air baffle with both of the air blockers
installed.
