IMPORTANT:IMPORTANT: After removing a high-performance (dual-rotor) fan, install or replace the fan within 60 seconds. Otherwise,
the server will shut down gracefully.
ProcedureProcedure
1. If installed, open the cable management arm .
2. Do one of the following:
a. Extend the server from the rack .
b. Remove the server from the rack .
3. Remove the access panel .
4. Remove the M.2 air baffle .
5. Remove fan blanks from the fan bays, if installed.
6. Install a fan.
Press the fan connector to make sure the fan is firmly seated on the fan board.
