You can configure two rear 3.5-inch hard disks in position 1 shown in Figure 1-3. The 
hard disks are numbered A0 and B0 from top down. 
 
You can configure two rear two rear 3.5-inch hard disks on in position 4 shown in Figure 
1-3. The hard disks are numbered A1 and B1 from top down. 
I/O module 2 supports only one riser card if the Appliance in dual-CPU configuration is 
not equipped with rear hard disks. One riser card provides two or three PCIe slots. 
 
You can configure a GE NIC in position 16 in Figure 1-3. 
 
The rear hard disks in position 17 shown in Figure 1-3 are numbered as follows: 
−  Numbered 24 to 35 from top down and from left to right when the N2000H V3 is 
equipped with one RAID controller card 
−  Numbered 0 to 11 from top down and from left to right when the N2000H V3 is 
equipped with two RAID controller cards 
ESNs 
An Equipment Serial Number (ESN) is a string that uniquely identifies a Appliance. An ESN 
is required when you apply for technical support to Huawei. 
Figure 1-4 shows the ESN format by using the example 2102310QPD10F3001263.
