Connecting DC Power Cables
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap.
Step 2 Connect the power cables to the wiring terminals on the PSU. The power cables
are connected properly once they are latched. See Figure 3-26.
● Connect the OT terminal on the negative power cable to the NEG(-) wiring
terminal on the PSU.
● Connect the OT terminal on the positive power cable to the RTN(+) wiring
terminal on the PSU.
● Connect the OT terminal on the ground cable to the ground terminal on the
PSU.

Step 3
Connect the other end of the power cable to the DC power distribution frame
(PDF) based on the power cable connection rules.
Step 4 Bind the power cable to the cable trough using cable ties.

3.5.8 Laying Out Cables
Basic Rules
● Lay out and bind cables of dierent types (such as power and signal cables)
separately. Lay out cables of the same type in the same direction. Cables near
each other can be routed in crossover mode. Ensure that the distance
between power cables and signal cables is longer than or equal to 30 mm
(1.18 in.) when you lay out the cables in parallel.
