PCIe GPU Conguration Guidelines
A GPU must be installed on a PCIe riser module.
● A 2-slot PCIe riser module supports one single-slot or dual-slot PCIe x16 GPU,
which is installed in slot 2 or 7.
● A 3-slot PCIe riser module does not support any GPU.
Equipment Serial Number
An Equipment Serial Number (ESN) is a string that uniquely identies a server. An
ESN is required when you apply for technical support from Huawei.
Figure 2-17 shows the ESN format by using the example
2102310QPD10F3001263.
