3.6.3 Removing the Server and Holding Rails
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves. For details, see 1 Safety Instructions.
Step 2 Power
o the server. For details, see 4 Powering On and O the Server.
Step 3 Disconnect all power cables and signal cables from the server.
Step 4 Remove the server.
1. Loosen the captive screws on the server panel using a screwdriver. See (1) in
Figure 3-31.
