Use the dimension map to define, check, or update the structure of your model.
For example, you can
v add, move, or remove entire dimensions or the layered levels within them
v create or remove alternate drill-down paths to support multidimensional
analysis
v create a time dimension that contains the relevant divisions in your calendar or
fiscal year
v open the property sheet for a selected dimension or level to set its available
options
v add levels manually so that you can more accurately allocate key performance
measures
v lock levels or entire dimensions so that new data does not disrupt your primary
structure
v show category counts for each level in every dimension
v show the scope for selected data sources or measures
v establish associations between levels and measures in a multiple data source
model

level.
