PREPARATION
OF
A TAPE-RESIDENT
SYSTEM
RUN
To
initiate
a
run
of
the
tape-resident
sys-
tem,
the
following
steps
must
be
taken
by
the
operator
(see
also
Figure
6):
1.
Place
into
the
hopper
of
the
loading
unit
(2501
if
attached;
otherwise,

Read-Punch
or
primary
feed
of

the
tape
IPL
deck
up
to
and
includ-
ing
the
END
card;

been

means

the
