Insert the sample tubing with the Valco fittings into the fitting detail on the Genie
filter. Push the tubing all the way forward into the detail, so that it seats firmly.
Manually turn the nut into the detail until it is finger tight. Using the 1/4 in. open-
ended wrench, turn the nut 1/4 turn (90°) past the point where the ferrule first
starts to grab the tubing. The amount of force required can vary considerably due
to the friction between the nut and the treads and the composition and wall
thickness of the tubing used.

Put the 5/16 in. Swagelok nut (PN 059-0696) and the 1/16 in. ferrule set (PN
059-0697) on the other end of the sample tube.
