9.10.10.5 Recalibrate the Area of a Single Peak
Often, it is desired to change integration events for a specific peak from a calibration
gas standard run. Many integration events change the area count underneath the
peak, which requires an updated area count in the Calibration tab. When calibrating
for the first time, area counts for peaks are generated automatically once the peak is
entered into the table. When recalibrating, a user may want to only change integration
on a single peak.

Conduct an analysis of the calibration gas standard. INFICON recommends
conducting multiple runs of each calibration gas and using the last run to perform
the calibration. Doing so thoroughly purges the sample path with the calibration
gas, which ensures the best calibration accuracy.

In the
Data Browser
window, select the data file for the calibration gas.

Click the icon to enter the calibration window.

Click the
Integration
tab.
