Before connecting a pressurized sample to the device, close the metering valve
by turning the dial fully clockwise to ensure no sample flow through the device
when the pressurized sample is connected.

Install a user-provided 1/8 in. sample line with the female Swagelok fittings
preinstalled.

Connect a vent line to the vent fitting using 1/8 in. Swagelok fittings. Run the
exhaust to a fume hood or other designated area for hazardous waste disposal.

Slowly open the dial to allow the sample to flow through the device. Check the
flow indicated on the flow gauge and ensure it is less than 100 mL/min.
