Place the Teflon front ferrule and the Teflon back ferrule into the 3/16 in.
stainless steel nut.
ð Place the Teflon back ferrule into the nut with the narrow end facing
outwards.
ð Place the Teflon front ferrule into the nut with the narrow end facing outwards.
The two ferrules are designed to fit together.

Screw the 3/16 in. stainless steel nut with the Teflon ferrules back into the
reducing union (PN 059-0298).

Insert the 1/4 in. tube fitting on the 3 L sample bag into the 3/16 in. end of the SS
Adapter for the Sample Bag and screw clockwise until finger tight.
