2.2Safetyinformationwithregardtocareand
maintenance

maintenanceisinsufficient
–Forreasonsofsafetyandinordertoavoidaccidents
whichresultfromunnoticedwear,itisimportantthat
thiselectricmobilityproductundergoesaninspection
onceeveryyearundernormaloperatingconditions
(seeinspectionplancontainedinserviceinstructions).
–Underdifficultoperatingconditionssuchasdailytravel
onsteepslopes,orinthecaseofuseinmedicalcare
caseswithfrequentlychangingwheelchairusers,it
wouldbeexpedienttocarryoutintermediatechecks
onthebrakes,accessoriesandrunninggear.
–Ifthemobilityproductistobeoperatedonpublic
roads,thevehicledriverisresponsibleforensuring
thatitisinanoperationallyreliablecondition.
Inadequateorneglectedcareandmaintenanceof
themobilityproductwillresultinalimitationofthe
manufacturer'sliability.
2.3Safetyinformationonelectromagnetic
interference
Thiselectricvehiclewassuccessfullytestedinaccordancewith
InternationalstandardsastoitscompliancewithElectromagnetic
Interference(EMI)regulations.However,electromagneticfields,
suchasthosegeneratedbyradioandtelevisiontransmitters,and
cellularphonescaninfluencethefunctionsofelectricvehicles.Also,
theelectronicsusedinourvehiclescangeneratealowlevelof
electromagneticinterference,whichhoweverwillremainwithinthe
tolerancepermittedbylaw.Forthesereasonsweaskyoutoplease
observethefollowingprecautions:

cellularphones)whenthevehicleisswitchedon.

unintentionallyorthebrakesarereleased,switchit
offimmediately.
–Addingelectricalaccessoriesandothercomponents
ormodifyingthevehicleinanywaycanmakeit
susceptibletoelectromagneticinterference.Keepin
mindthatthereisnosurewaytodeterminetheeffect
suchmodificationswillhaveontheoverallimmunity
oftheelectronicsystem.
–Reportalloccurrencesofunintentionalmovementof
thevehicle,orreleaseoftheelectricbrakestothe
manufacturer.
