intotal.However,thisdoesnotmeanthatonecansita
personwiththisbodyweightinthemobilitydevicewithout
restrictions.Attentionmustbepaidtothebodyproportions,
suchasheight,weightdistribution,abdominalbelt,legand
calfstrapandseatdepth.Thesefactorshaveastrong
influenceondrivingfeaturessuchastiltstabilityandtraction.
Thepermissibleaxleloadsinparticularmustbeadhered

).Itmaypossiblybe
necessarytocarryoutadaptationstotheseatsystem.
5.1Beforedrivingforthefirsttime
Beforeyoutakeyourfirsttrip,youshouldfamiliariseyourselfwell
withtheoperationofthevehicleandwithalloperatingelements.
Takeyourtimetotestallfunctionsanddrivingmodes.
NOTE
–Ifinstalled,makesuretoproperlyadjustandusethe
posturalbelteachtimeyouusethewheelchair.
Sittingcomfortably=Drivingsafely
Beforeeachtrip,makesurethat:
•Youarewithineasyreachofalloperatingcontrols.
•Thebatterychargeissufficientforthedistanceintendedtobe
covered.
•Theposturalbelt(ifinstalled)isinperfectorder.
•Therearmirror(ifinstalled)isadjustedsoyoucanlookbehind
atalltimeswithouthavingtobendforwardorshiftyourseating
position.

Whenparkingyourvehicleorifyourvehicleisstationaryfora
prolongedperiod:
1.Switchthevehicle'spowersystemoff(ON-/OFFkey).
2.Activateyouranti-theftlock,ifexisting.
