Engagingthemotor:
1.Pushtheengagingleverdown(1).
Themotorisengaged.Pleasenotethatbothmotorsmustalways
beengagedbeforedriving!
5.7.2Disengagingthemotors(GBmotors)
CAUTION!
Riskofinjuryfromhotmotorsurfaces
–Avoidtouchingthemotorsurfaceswhenengagingor
disengaging.
CAUTION!
Riskofthemobilitydevicerunningaway
–Whenthemotorsaredisengaged(forpushoperation
whilstfreewheeling),theelectromagneticmotor
brakesaredeactivated.Whenthemobilitydeviceis
parked,theleversforengaginganddisengagingthe
motorsmustwithoutfailbelockedfirmlyintothe
"DRIVE"position(electromagneticmotorbrakes
activated).
NOTE
–Themotorsmayonlybedisengagedbyanattendant,
notbytheuser.
–Thisensuresthatthemotorsareonlydisengagedifan
attendantisavailabletosecurethemobilitydeviceand
preventunintendedrolling.
Eachmotorisfittedwithanengagingleverwhichisusedtoengage
ordisengagethemotor.
Disengagingthemotor:
1.Switchoffremote.
2.
PullthelockingpinAoutandtheengagingleverBtotherear.
Themotorisnowdisengaged.
