Itispossiblethatcollisionscanoccurbetweenmobility
devicecomponentsduetovariouscombinationsof
adjustmentoptionsandtheirindividualsettings
–Themobilitydeviceisfittedwithanindividual,
multiplyadjustableseatingsystemincludingadjustable
legrests,armrests,aheadrestorotheroptions.These
adjustmentoptionsaredescribedinthefollowing
chapters.Theyareusedtoadapttheseattothe
physicalrequirementsandtheconditionoftheuser.
Whenadaptingtheseatingsystemandtheseat
functionstotheuser,ensurethatnomobilitydevice
componentscollide.

Thefollowinginformationisvalidforallseatingsystems.

Riskoftheremotebeingpushedbackwards
duringanaccidentalcollisionwithanobstacle,
suchasadoorframeortable,andthejoystick
beingjammedagainstthearmpadiftheposition
oftheremoteisadjustedandallscrewsarenot
completelytightened
Thiswillcausethemobilitydevicetodriveforward
uncontrollablyandpotentiallyinjurethemobilitydevice
userandanypersonstandingintheway.
–Whenadjustingthepositionoftheremote,always
makesuretotightenallscrewssecurely.
