CAUTION!
Thereisariskofinjuryiftheuserisnotproperly
securedwithinthemobilitydevice
–Evenifthemobilitydeviceisfittedwithaposturalbelt,
thisisnosubstituteforapropersafetybeltwhich
complieswithISO10542inthetransportvehicle.
Alwaysusethesafetybeltinstalledinthetransport
vehicle.
–Safetybeltsmustbeincontactwiththeuser'sbody.
Theymustnotbeheldatadistancefromtheuser's
bodyusingpartsofthemobilitydevicesuchas
armrestsorwheels.
–Safetybeltsmustbepulledastightlyaspossible
withoutcausingtheuserdiscomfort.
–Safetybeltsmustnotbepositionedwhiletwisted.
–Ensurethatthethirdseatbeltanchoragepointisnot
fixeddirectlytothevehiclefloor,buttooneofthe
vehicleuprights.
CAUTION!
Injuryhazardduringuseofthemobilitydeviceas
avehicleseatifaheadrestiswronglyadjusted
ornotinstalled
Thiscancausethenecktobehyperextendedduring
collisions.
–Aheadrestmustbeinstalled.Theheadrestoptionally
suppliedforthismobilitydevicebyInvacareis
perfectlysuitableforuseduringtransport.
–Theheadrestmustbeadjustedtotheuser'searheight.
