whichguaranteestippingstability.Thesensor
measurestheactualangleofthedriveunit,and
preventsanyfurtherdecreaseinstabilitybyrestricting
thefunctionalityoftheadjustmentactuators.Ifthis
safetyfunctionisactivated,thebackrestandtheseat
tiltingcanonlybemovedforwards,andtheliftercan
onlybelowered.Repositionyourmobilitydevice
onlevelgroundsothattheactuatorscanfunction
normallyagain.
5.5Usingfoldableantitippers
Wherespaceisrestricted,e.g.inanelevatororwhenbeing
transportedinacar,themobilitydevicemaybetoolong.Foldable
antitipperscanbeusefulhere.Thesecanonlybeoperatedbyan
attendantastheyarepositionedbeyondthereachoftheuser.
CAUTION!
Riskoftippingiftheantitippersarenotreturned
tothedrivingpositionbeforemovingoff
–Alwaysreturntheantitipperstothedrivingposition
beforemovingoff(seethefigurebelow).
–Makesurethatthelockingpinisfullyengaged.
