Access Apertures
C Hinge pin
3. Disconnect the stay bar from the retaining bracket by lifting the stay bar out of the slot.
4. If necessary, hydraulic compartment cover can be detached from the rear counterweight door by lifting the
cover assembly off the cover hinge pin. Refer to Figure 97.
5. Remove the safety pin. Refer to Figure 98.
6. Pull the quick release latch lever. Refer to Figure 98.

7. Remove the bolt if installed for attaching the counterweight door to the chassis of the machine. Refer to
Figure 98.
8. If installed, disconnect the counterweight door retaining strap.
