Ensure correct adjustment of parameter!
If the incremental encoder pulse number is not correctly adjusted, the
motor can run very slowly and draw high current, run too fast and
OVERSPEED IS POSSIBLE, or other unforeseen conditions may occur.
Therefore, it is critical to adjust this parameter correctly.
LE03 Swap Encoder 1 Channels
This parameter is used to invert the A and B incremental channels and/or invert the
direction of motor rotation.

Table 17. LE03 Swap encoder 1 channel settings
Setting
Description
Not Inverted
No changes are made to A/B or direction of rotation.
A-B Swapped
Encoder channels A and B are swapped internally.
Inverted Rotation
The direction of motor rotation is inverted
A-B Swap & Inverted Rotation
Encoder channels A and B are swapped internally, and the
direction of motor rotation is inverted.
For PM Synchronous Motors, if the A/B Channels are swapped, the encoder pole
position value in LE06 will have a different corresponding value and must be
relearned.
Risk of damage to motor!
For PM motors, the direction of rotation should NOT be changed by
swapping motor phases.
Swapping motor phases to change direction of rotation could result in
violent behavior and/or damage to the motor.
