When the low phase noise checkbox is selected on the clock panel of the Soft Front
Panel, a message window is shown informing the user that the external sample clock
should be connected to the LPN Clock Input and to the Sample Clock Input on the front
panel, as shown in the figure below. Select Okay once the sample clock has been
connected, or select Cancel to disable the low phase noise mode and return to standard
operation.
An accessory kit is provided with the LPN option for making the connections to the LPN
Clock Input and the Sample Clock Input from the user’s clock source. The kit includes a
Keysight 11636B power divider and two 18 inch long 50 ohm cables.
