4.3 Weekly Cleaning
This section describes how to clean the parts that need cleaning weekly or every 6000 m / 19684.8' of printing.
Before cleaning, prepare the following items.
- IPA (Isopropyl alcohol)
- Clean soft cloth
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Cutter knife
- Masking tape (width more than 30 mm / 1.18")
NOTICE
When cleaning the machine, use a soft cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Other paint solvents may cause
malfunction.
Cleaning the Interior of the Main Body
A Use the two supplied magnet bars to hold the media on the workbench of Roll
Winder RW-201 and cut it.
Put the two supplied magnet bars on the workbench so that they surround the cutter groove and cut
the media with a cutter.
When cutting paper, be careful not to injure your hands or fingers.
B Remove the magnet on the main body side.
