– Position the brake calipers.
The brake linings are correctly positioned.

Mount screws
on both brake calipers but do not tighten yet.
– Operate the hand brake lever repeatedly until the brake linings are in contact with the
brake disc and there is a pressure point. Fixate the hand brake lever while it is actu-
ated.
The brake calipers align themselves.
–
Tighten screws
on both brake calipers.

– Release the fixation of the hand brake lever.
– Take the motorcycle off of the front wheel stand. ( p. 168)
– Remove the rear of the motorcycle from the lifting gear. ( p. 167)

– Pull the front brake and compress the fork powerfully a few times.
The fork legs straighten.

Fully tighten screws
