Single-Point Lube KitsSingle-Point Lube Kits
The optional Single-Point Lube kit offers the ability to
combine multiple lubrication points into one centralized
grease point. Individual grease points are combined
into one location for convenient machine lubrication and
more efcient paver maintenance. When you input the
grease into the central point, a valve distributes grease
evenly to all bearings. This option is only available with
the Legend HD screed option.
Horizontal Flight ScrewsHorizontal Flight Screws
Some screed operators prefer horizontal ight screws.
(Figure 4-81) This option is not an add-on option--it
must be ordered when purchased and is only available
with the Legend HD screed option.

Hydraulic Tow PointsHydraulic Tow Points
The hydraulic tow point cylinder option provides the
means of adjusting the tow point from the main control
panel or screed control box. (Figure 4-79) The tow
point switch is on the operator control panel. The
hydraulic tow point cylinders and linkage allows 8
inches of travel for quick and easy height adjustments,
and integrates with sonic grade and slope automation.
1. Before paving, center the tow point by referring
to the screed elevation gauge on each side of the
paver. Raise or lower until the rod end is ush with
the “0” on the indicator.
2. While paving, refer to both gauges and make minor
adjustments to the screed using the tow point
adjustment or ight screw.
NOTE: Tow point cylinders will not function manually
when the machine is in the AUTO mode.
Auger Lube KitAuger Lube Kit
The Auger Lube Kit combines the four (4) auger bear-
ings grease points into one lubrication point, located on
the back of the auger in front (left) of the right operator
station. (Figure 4-80)
