CONTROL NAME FUNCTION
1 Tilt Screw Adjusts the tilt of the end gate.
2 Flight Screw Controls depth of the asphalt at the end gate (located on each side).
3 Sonic Auger Sensor
The sonic auger sensors (one on each side) are mounted on each screed
extension to automatically gauge and regulate material ow.
4 Angle of Attack (AOA) Adjusts screed for smooth or coarse mat texture.
5 Depth Screw Controls depth of the asphalt (one on each side of the main screed).
6 Screed Control Box
9-Function screed control box mounted on each side of screed features all
the important screed controls for ease of use while paving.
7 Joystick Controls Controls travel direction and speed (on each side of machine).
8 Operator Control Panel Main operator control panel that slides to either side of operator platform.
9 Beacon Light
Revolving amber safety light to alert trafc and others at the work site. Folds
down when not in use.
10 Hopper Hopper wings fold out to hold asphalt material.
11 End Gate Adjusts for a paving width to match joints and leave a clean edge.
12 Auger Rotates to move material from the conveyors to the screed.

Under Auger Material Cut-
Offs
Cut-off “gates” under the auger can be opened and closed to allow or
prevent asphalt material moving from the auger to the screed.

Push Rollers or Hydraulic
Truck Hitch Option
Push rollers adjusts height (manually) for roll-up to the asphalt material truck.
The optional truck hitch is hydraulically driven for roll-up, but also hooks
around the inside of the asphalt truck wheel, hitching the paver to the truck.
