ITEM NO. CONTROL NAME FUNCTION
1 Tilt Screw Used to adjust the height and angle of the end gates.
2 Flight Screw Controls depth of the asphalt at the end gate (located on each side).
3 Sonic Auger Sensor
The sonic auger sensors (one on each side) are mounted on each
screed extension to automatically gauge and regulate material ow.

Screed Extension Angle of
Attack (AoA) Screw
Adjusts the trailing edge of the extension wear plate to provide the best
mat. Moves up or down and can level extension at wide widths.
5 Vertical Height Adjusters Factory-set mechanism that should not need adjustment.
6 Depth Screw Controls depth of the asphalt (one on each side of the main screed).
7 Screed Control Box
A screed control box is located on each side of the main screed. Simply
press the buttons to operate the extensions, tow, augers, slope, berm (if
equipped), cut-offs, horn and berm (if equipped with berm option). (See
the following pages for details.)
8 Electric Heat Box
Control box for the electric screed heat (and heated end gate option if
equipped).
9 Crown and Valley Adjuster
Adjusts for positive crown or negative valley in wear plate.
NOTE: Power Crown option available.
