Rear Hopper Wing Cylinders
1. Fold in the hopper wings completely.
2. Secure wings to prevent them from falling open
when the cylinder is disconnected.
3. Open the front cover on the hood to access the bolt
cover at the rod end of the cylinder.
4. Remove top bolt. (Figure 5-28)
5. Fold out cylinder and disconnect hoses.
6. Disconnect the cylinder mount and slide off cylinder.
7. Slide new cylinder onto the mount.
8. Cover bolts with thread-locking adhesive before
attaching new cylinder back onto the mount.
9. Clean the hydraulic hoses and reattach.
10. Extend the cylinder so that the bolt at the rod end
lines up with the mount.
11. Cover the mount bolt with thread-locking adhesive
and tighten.
12. Reattach bolt cover and close hood.

Front Hopper Wing Cylinders
1. Fold hopper wing all the way in.
2. Secure wing closed so that wing will not fall open
after cylinder is disconnected.
3. Disconnect hose. (Figure 5-29)
4. Remove clevis pin and bolt from cylinder mount.
5. Slide cylinder off.
6. Slide cylinder on bottom mount.
7. Attach bolt to cylinder mount.
8. Clean hydraulic hoses and connect the cylinder.
9. Extend cylinder so that hole in rod lines up with
upper mount.
10. Attach clevis pin
