Drive Torque Hub Replacement
1. Drive paver onto a ramp to access the
undercarraige.
2. Remove the track master pin at the bottom rear of
the sprocket.
3. Release track tension by screwing the relief
cartridge out of the manifold (about three turns).

4. Drive paver forward to disconnect the track from the
top of the sprocket. (Figure 5-24)
5. Follow directions for 2-Speed Motor Replacement
on Page 5-21.
6. Jack up the sprocket to remove from the track.
7. Remove bolts holding sprocket.
8. Slide sprocket off out of the way.
9. Use a hoist to hold the torque hub.
10. Remove bolts from rear of the torque hub and slide
torque hub with the hoist.
11. Use hoist to replace new torque hub onto the frame.
12. Place thread-locking adhesive on bolts and reinstall.
13. Torque bolts to 180 ft. lbs. (244 N.m).
14. Slide sprocket onto the torque hub.
15. Place thread-locking adhesive on bolts and reinstall
the sprocket.
16. Torque bolts to 180 ft. lbs. (244 N.m).
17. Follow directions for installing 2-Speed Motor
Replacement. (Page 5-21)
18. Lower the paver ensuring the sprocket goes back
into the track chain. Drive paver forward to rotate
track onto the top of the sprocket.
19. Reinsert the master pin back onto the track.
20. Place thread-locking adhesive on bolts.
21. Tighten the relief cartridge in the manifold.
22. Rotate torque hub so that either of the plugs are at
3 o’clock position. Remove the plug at the 3 o’clock
position. If oil comes out, no oil is needed. Insert
plug and tighten. If oil does not come out, remove
the plug at the 12 o’clock position and ll torque hub
with 80W-90 gear oil until oil starts to appear at the
other hole. Replace both plugs and repeat process
on other torque hub.
Track Sprocket Replacement
1. Rotate the track master pin to the bottom of the
sprocket.
2. Release track tension by screwing the relief
cartridge out of the manifold (about three turns).
3. Remove track master pin at bottom rear of sprocket.
Drive paver forward to disconnect track from the top
of the sprocket.
4. Jack up the paver until the sprocket clears the track.

5. Remove bolts holding sprocket. (Figure 5-24)
6. Slide sprocket off and replace.
7. Slide sprocket back in place.
8. Place thread-locking adhesive on bolts and install
bolts holding sprocket.
