To activate the
diameter
compensator the threshold which is to be
set
under
C94 must be decreased so that the dancer-Position
controller
tan
be activated. With the setting of Cl 94 = 100 %
(factory setting) the
diameter
compensator is disconnected from
the dancer-Position controller.

9.10.1 Reset of the
diameter
compensator
The
diameter
compensator
tan
be reset (e.g. after finishing the
winding process) via a freely assignable digital input, the operating
unit, or the LECOM
interfaces.
Select the freely assignable terminal which is to be assigned to the
function “diameter compensator reset” via
code
Cl 12. This function
is assigned to the freely assignable terminal
under
code
Cl 13. If
the
diameter
compensator is enabled via the freely assignable
terminal, the thresholds will be compared first. When activating the
“diameter compensator reset”, the counter value is set to
Zero.
After
each
mains connection, the
diameter
compensator is set to
Zero.
-
Caution!
If the controller is enabled when the
diameter
compensator is reset,
then the counter value is set to zero immediately. Thus, with a high
diameter
compensator
percentage
-
when activating the “diameter
compensator reset”
-
the
diameter
value which is
part
of the
division
changes
abruptly and as a result the field frequency is also
changed.
This may lead to high accelerations and the
current
limiting function
Imax
may be activated.
The integration time
tan
be set
under
code
Cl 95 (unit [s]), and the
decrement time
tan
be determined
under
Cl96 (unit
[s]).
If the output of the dancer-Position controller falls below the
threshold set
under
Cl 94 after the
diameter
compensator has
already been activated, the correction value of the
diameter
compensator will not be
changed
as long as
l the
diameter
compensator is reset via a freely assignable
terminal or
l the supply voltage of the frequency controller is switched off
(e.g. the controller is not connected to the mains) or
l the
diameter
compensator has to be activated again
because
the output of the dancer-Position controller exceeds the
threshold set
under
Cl 94.
The function Cl 94 is not reset by controller inhibit.
The threshold set
under
Cl 94 refers to 100% of the modulation of
the dancer-Position controller.
INFO: 100 % = Diameter compensator swtiched off.
