3 Application-specific controller selection
3.1 Applications with extreme overload,
peak torque up to 230% of the rated motor torque

For applications where a very extreme starting and
overload torque are necessary (e.g. presses, drilling
machines).
- The controller provides 200% of the rated torque for
a maximum of 30s.
With cyclic overload, the ratio between overload to
cycle time must not exceed 0.2.
- For these applications, the monitoring of the output
current is set to Operation with rated power
using the Codes Cl 19 and Cl20 (see page 82)
(factory setting)
- Please note that a maximum ambient temperature of
50°C is permissible.
