5.3 TASK LIST
To ensure the performance of your emotion2 or perception2, you must regularly
perform some maintenance operations.
Maintenance of the Scanform™ unit
Cleaning the Scanform™
Replacing a stylus head
Replacing the frame clip tubes
Replacing the centering plate
Maintenance of the centering/blocking system zone
Cleaning the eyepiece
Cleaning the bearing surface
Cleaning the lower lens of the collimator
Replacing the hand rest
Maintenance of the touch screen zone
Cleaning the touch screen
Maintenance of the Edger
Clean the edger daily with a spray bottle of water.
Replace the flexible lens clamp adaptor pad regularly (every 1000 lenses).
Replace the mill bit when a message asks you to do so (1 hour of total drilling time).
Check the condition of the lens feeler tips regularly and replace them as soon as they appear to be worn
or damaged (or every 3000 lenses).
Dress the wheels when a message asks you to do so.
Clean the removable visor regularly, and replace it if necessary.
Change the water in the tank regularly if your machine operates in closed water circuit mode.
Clean the filters and the tanks regularly.
Replacing the main fuse.
Replacing the lens feeler pin.
Check the condition of the safety-beveling and grooving wheels and have them replaced by a technician if
necessary.
