5.10 Transport System (Optional)
The header can be equipped with a set of transport wheels so that the header can be towed by a windrower, combine, or
tractor.
Refer to 6.3.3 Stabilizer / Slow Speed Transport Wheels, page 249 for more information.
5.10.1 Checking Wheel Bolt Torque
The transport wheel bolt torque should be checked after one operating hour following the installation of the wheels, and
every 100 operating hours thereafter.

1. Torque wheel bolts to 120 Nm (90 lbf·ft) using the
sequence shown at right.
IMPORTANT:
Whenever a wheel is removed and reinstalled, check the
wheel bolt torque after one hour of operation and every
100 hours thereafter.
5.10.2 Checking Axle Bolt Torque
The hardware that secures the optional transport system components to the header must be checked daily to ensure safe
operation.
