2. Attach motor (A) (and spacer if previously removed) to
motor mount (B) with four 1/2 in. x 1 3/4 in. countersunk
bolts and nuts (C).
3. Torque nuts (C) to 73 Nm (54 lbfft).
4. If installing a new motor, install the hydraulic fittings (not
shown) and torque them to 110120 Nm (8189 lbf·ft).

5. Remove the caps or plugs from the ports and lines, and
connect hydraulic lines (A) to hydraulic fittings (B) on
motor (C).
NOTE:
Ensure hydraulic lines (A) are installed at their original
locations.
6. Install the drive sprocket. For instructions, refer to Installing
Reel Drive Sprocket, page 233.
7. Tighten the drive chain. For instructions, refer to Tightening
Reel Drive Chain, page 230.
5.9.6 Replacing Drive Chain on Double Reel
The drive chain allows the hydraulic reel drive motor to turn the reel. It can be replaced if damaged or worn.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operators seat for any reason.
1. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
2. Loosen the drive chain. For instructions, refer to Loosening Reel Drive Chain, page 229.
