REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS, PART 1
1. If equipped with the optional PTO assembly,
loosen and remove the mounting screws
securing the assembly to the flywheel
housing.
2. Remove the PTO assembly from the
flywheel housing and set aside.

3. Remove and discard the PTO housing seal.
Flywheel Housing Removal
1. Remove the flywheel housing fasteners
located at the front of the housing at both
sides of the engine.

2. Support the flywheel housing and remove
the fasteners at the rear of the flywheel
housing securing the housing to the cylinder
block.

3. Remove the flywheel housing. It may be
necessary to tap lightly on the housing with
a soft mallet to separate the housing from
the cylinder block.
