Block Stiffener Plate Installation

Align the plate so that the sequence of four
mounting holes and one large hole falls at the
front of the cylinder block. The arch of the plate
provides clearance for the main bearing caps.

1. Assemble the stiffener plate on the cylinder
block.
2. Using a torque wrench, tighten the attaching
screws in sequence according to
specification.
