Crankshaft Front Cover Installation

Make sure that the crankshaft front cover and
cylinder block flanges are cleaned thoroughly
before applying sealant.

Front Seal Cover to Block
1. Apply a 2 mm (5/64-inch) bead of MACK
approved sealant to the rear face of the
cover following the pattern shown.
2. Within 20 minutes of sealant application,
install the front cover to the cylinder block.
