Oil Filter Housing Installation
[219 EP]
It may be helpful to assemble the supply and
return pipes in the cooling duct cover before
tightening the oil filter housing attaching screws.
1. Assemble the attaching screws in the oil
filter housing.
2. Assemble the oil filter housing gasket on the
attaching screws.
3. Install the oil filter housing on the cylinder
block.
4. Lubricate and assemble O-rings on the ends
of the oil cooler-to-housing return pipe.
5. Lubricate and assemble O-rings on the ends
of the housing-to-oil cooler supply pipe.

6. Assemble the return pipe in the cooling duct
cover.
7. Assemble the return and supply pipes
between the oil filter housing and cooling
duct cover.
8. Using a torque wrench, tighten all screws
according to specification.
9. Lubricate and assemble an O-ring on the oil
pressure sensor.
10. Using a torque wrench, tighten the sensor
according to specification.
11. Lubricate and assemble an elastomer
bushing in the port in the cooling duct cover.
Exhaust Manifold Installation

1. Apply anti-seize compound to the exhaust
manifold screw threads and also to the
underside of the screw heads.
2. Install alignment pins in the upper manifold
mounting holes on the cylinder head.

3. Install new gaskets onto the alignment pins
with the seal side facing the cylinder head.
