Oil Pump and Valve Housing Installation

OIL PUMP
1. Assemble the pump on the No. 7 main
bearing cap.
2. Using a torque wrench, tighten the attaching
screws in a cross pattern according to
specification.
3. Lubricate and assemble an O-ring on the
end of the strainer/pickup pipe (large OD)
and insert the pipe in the oil pump housing.
4. Lubricate and assemble an O-ring on each
end of the pressure side pipe (small OD)
and insert one end in the oil pump housing.
5. Using a torque wrench, tighten the screws
according to specification.

5. Small Diameter O-Ring
6. Strainer/Pickup Pipe (Suction Side)
7. Large Diameter O-Ring
